Table looms

To begin weaving, most beginner weavers  buy an Erica, with 4 shafts which will be adequate for a whole year of learning. The Erica is light, easy to carry to class and to a local social weaving group.

 With more experience, and the need for 8 shafts, weavers buy a  Louet Jane table loom or an 8 shaft Flex by Lojan (arriving in May 2025) or a Louet Harmony loom (will order these when available)

 For ergonomic posture and comfortable weaving both the Jane and Harmony looms are more comfortable with a stand and a stool. 

The height of the Erica loom is adjustable and a dining chair is fine. 

A huge variety of weave structures can be accomplished on either a 4 shaft or 8 shaft loom.
