 is a wonderfully functional workshop loom, and normally comes with a swinging beater, which works really well. 

The standing beater is an accessory, which is an underslung beater.  It fits into the  floor stand, and makes the loom look more like a floor loom.  This works well if your loom remains at home, but would need to be dismantled each time  the loom goes to workshops.
