Open Studio Days

Because we believe that weavers should be happy with products that they purchase, we encourage weavers to come and try out looms and spinners to try a variety of wheels on Open Studio Days

This enables weavers to see if they can reach the treadles, whether they can tie up the floor loom, what width loom will fit in the space that they have and whether they are comfortable at the loom... as well as finding out whether the loom will help them weave the product that they want to produce.  Do they need an compu-dobby loom rather than a manual one?

Spinners need to try the treadling action, find out which adjustments works best for the yarn they wish to make, find out what accessories or changes need to be made for art yarn production
