Second Warp Beams

A second warp beam allows

  • 2 warps at different tensions to be combined to make seersucker, or some collapse weaves
  • 2 warps at different tensions for supplementary warps and some pique
  • 2 warps let off at differing lengths to produce pleating in double weave
  • 2 different types of warping- a plain beam and one set up for sectional warping

Additional springs are supplied with the sectional warping equipment and the double back beam to reduce the weight of lifting the second beam on the Megado.
